Lord Rings
Users have reported that the LOTRO game crashes while loading. It would not reach the splash screen and impeller. Although the analysis it was found that the file was lotroclient.exe game crashed, and therefore the problem occurred.
Here are the steps you can try:
1. Delete the file User Preferences
2. Restore the default settings of the game
3. Edit Permissions Security
4. Reinstall the game in any other folder in Program Files
5. Reinstall the game
6. Corruption Registry Fix, Clean System Junk and browsers.
Delete the file of user preferences
There is a file named LOTRO UserPreferences.ini stored in a directory depending on what operating system platform you use. As the name suggests, it contains the user preferences for the game
To delete this file, proceed as follows:
1. Click Start | Documents.
2. Double click the folder named Lord of the Rings Online.
3. Delete the file UserPreferences.ini
4. Restart the game now works.
Restore game settings default settings
For the possibility of incorrect settings of the game, reset all settings default. To do this, go to launch options, the icon of the down arrow in the upper left.
Edit Permissions Security
32-bit and 64-bit versions of Windows Vista and Windows 7, sometimes the cause of the crash game is security permissions. Try to modify it under the following solution:
1. Click Start | Computing.
2. Double-click C: Program Files
3. Right click the folder named Codemasters
4. Select Properties option.
5. Click the Security tab.
6. Click Edit | Add.
7. Enter username.
8. Click OK.
9. Click the checkbox next to Full Control in the Allow column.
10. Click OK.
Reinstall the game in any other folder in Program Files
To avoid the above problem of permissions security, try reinstalling the game in any folder other than C: Program Files or C: Program Files (x86). For example, you can reinstall the game in D: site Games LOTRO.
Reinstalling the Game
Here are the steps to reinstall the game:
1. Click Start | Control Panel.
2. For users of Windows XP, double-click Add / Remove Programs icon. For Windows Vista / 7 users click Programs | Uninstall a program.
3. Select Lotro game in the list of installed programs.
4. Click Uninstall or Remove button.
5. Follow the instructions on the screen, and reboot the system after completion.
6. Re-run Setup LOTROagain to install.
Corruption Registry Fix, Clean System Junk and Browsers
It is strongly recommended that you correct the errors hidden in your Windows system with a cleaning software. Use this tool to clean up system junk and browsers as well.
